Dear Wikimedians,
I want to bring to your attention a Wikiproject grant that is currently under review submitted by The Africa Narrative, a non-profit that develops and supports high impact projects focused on African storytelling, African creatives, and the African cultural and creative industries.
The AfroCreatives Wikiproject aims to support and mobilize people/professionals from the African creative sector, as well as enthusiasts more broadly, to contribute and enhance knowledge on Wikipedia about Africa’s creative economy. Its inaugural effort will target the film sectors of Egypt, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Senegal with a campaign that will include trainings and virtual editathons aimed at the general public and professionals within the creative space.
I hope to have the good fortune of having the Afro-Creatives WikiProject be part of the African Wikimedian community and with many opportunities to collaborate with you.
