Hello,

The African Library and Information Associations and Institutions (AfLIA), with grant support from the Wikimedia Foundation, is implementing a 12-months project titled "Promoting Open Knowledge practices in African Libraries through WikiData" (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Programs/Wikimedia_Alliances_Fund/Promoting_Open_Knowledge_practices_in_African_Libraries_through_WikiData).

We are looking for a competent trainer with deep hands-on experience, who will among other things:
1. facilitate development of a course on Wikidata and
2. train at least 200 African librarians from 20 African countries+ on how to effectively open up and link knowledge by making their library collections more visible through Wikidata.

All experienced African Wikimedians, especially Wikidata experts, are encouraged to apply. To obtain more details about this job opening, kindly visit https://web.aflia.net/job-opening-wikidata-course-manager-facilitator/

Warm regards,

AfLIA Communications.
