Greetings! everyone,

As most of you are aware, the Movement Charter Drafting Committee (MCDC) is currently collecting community feedback about three draft sections of the Movement Charter: PreambleValues & Principles, and Roles & Responsibilities (intentions statement).

How can you participate and share your feedback?

The MCDC is looking forward to receiving all types of feedback in different languages from community members across the Movement and its affiliates. You can participate in the following ways:

The community consultation hour for the Sub-Saharan Africa region will take place on November 25 at 17:00 UTC on Zoom. There will be French interpretation. The conversation will not be recorded, but we will take notes and produce a summary report afterwards.

If you want to learn more about the Movement Charter, its goals, why it matters, and how it impacts your community, please watch the recording here of the “Ask Me Anything about the Movement Charter” sessions that took place earlier this month. The meeting notes for this session are available in different languages on the MS Forum. This onboarding resource is also available in French here.

Thank you for your time and participation. I look forward to seeing you next week, on Friday, November 25, at 17:00 UTC.
