Thanks for this update.

African language Wikipedia generally needs serious attention and we really need to engage native speakers of those language to keep it running.

In the last few months, the  activity on Yoruba Wikipedia focus primarily on maintenance, including rewriting of bot-created articles, sourcing of unsourced contents, deletion of empty pages etc. See for example this edit.

We do want to focus on quality and not quantity.
