Hello Dear Kayode,
I've submitted a response to the Wiki Indaba 2019 Community Survey. I've
got a few remarks concerning the form for improvement etc;
1. Question: What skills do you wish to learn during Wiki Indaba 2019?
I think this question should be check-boxes as one may want to select
multiple skills but currently it's a set of radio buttons where one can
select just 1 skill.
2. Question: Major problems in your community (another question in the
form).
Seems like a similar issue with the question mentioned above.
Thanks very much Kayode :)

Hello Dear Kayode,
In addition, this question appeared twice;
What does your community need to do at an in-person gathering to achieve
this goal.
Please have a look, thanks! :)

Wikipedia Voice was a two-day training event where 47 student members
of Wikimedia Fan Club, University of Ilorin and two post graduates
enriched their experience and skills as Wikipedians as they engaged in
training sessions, help improve Wikipedia articles and engaged in Wiki
related activities and discussions.
The training sought to align the new stream of emerging editors with
the community policies and practices that have kept Wikipedia's
standard.
Experienced members of the club gave brief talks about Neutral Point
Of View, weasel words, puffery etc using the slides and experience
gotten from Asaf's training/meeting at Abuja.
Metrics tracked at the event can be found here:

We are so excited to render knowledge as a service.
Keeping it up.

Subject: [African Wikimedians] Visiting Wikimedian for the Wikimedia
Conference 2019
Message-ID:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"
Hi all,
In preparation for the upcoming Wikimedia Conference 2019 – which will take
place from March 29 to March 31 in Berlin, Germany[1] – we again launch a
call for a “Visiting Wikimedian”. This initiative aims to transfer
practical knowledge from the German chapter to other Wikimedia movement
affiliates and provides us with an outside view.
The scope of a “Visiting Wikimedian” is mainly to support the organization
of the Wikimedia Conference in terms of logistics and program. The “Visiting
Wikimedian” will be involved in all essential steps of the planning and
organizing process and will be able to contribute in multiple ways. We are
open to designing the tasks together, according to the Visiting Wikimedian’s
skills and experiences and her or his affiliate’s needs. We are especially
looking for a person who can apply the knowledge to an upcoming event, for
example if the affiliate is hosting a regional or international conference.
You can find more information about the initiative and all application
details on Meta.[2] We had three Visiting Wikimedians over the last years,
check also their blost posts on the linked on the Meta page.
If you are interested in becoming a Visiting Wikimedian, please check the
September 19, 2019 (incl).
Best regards,
Cornelius
