Dear African Wikimedians,
Remember when finding information meant walking through the doors of a
library?
Today, much of the world's knowledge is just a few clicks away.
With just a few clicks, we can discover people, places, histories, and
ideas from almost anywhere in the world. But every digital library is only
as complete as the people who contribute to it.
At Africa Wiki Women, we believe that knowledge should reflect the richness
and diversity of our world. Every campaign, mentorship session, workshop,
and edit brings us one step closer to ensuring that African women's
stories, achievements, and contributions are not only documented but also
discoverable for generations to come.
As you explore this May–June edition of our newsletter

we invite you to look back on the milestones, collaborations, and community
efforts that continue to shape our journey.
Thank you for being part of it.

<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:May_-_June_2026_AWW_NEWSLETTER_FREN…>,

to make a content partnership successful. This could be uploading content,
creating meta data structures, drafting a project plan together, or
supporting a new partner with their uncertainties with Wiki-tools and
platforms or even copyright clearance.
This is your opportunity to talk to an expert directly and get your
questions answered. Book an appointment now, or stop by the Helpdesk in
Foyer S2 during Thursday, 23 July.
