It has been a longtime I've participated in this group. I am a dev from DRC. I am now ready to rejoin  and promote  the group in my city.

Derick who was the Techlead for the project is no more with us. He had to follow on some other projects and decided to leave for now. We are happy to have had him among us and we wish him all the best for the next moves.

Samuel Guebo who was partnership manager also left the core team due to a new role he has within wikimedia that warrant him to leave core positions in local communities including AWMD. He is still with us in the project and continue to contribute. We are happy he was part of the core and grateful for his great contributions to the core team. We are also happy he is still part of the project.

==GOOD News==

Eugene will be joining us to keep this project running smoothly. He will handle the position of Tech lead and will assist volunteers in engagement. He is very happy to work with us and we are very excited to have him on board.

We will have our first Debug time meeting Also known as Ask Me Anything(AMA) Next Saturday 9th November from 1pm to 6pm. on our IRC channel #wikimedia-dev-africa. Please do not miss it as it is the beginning of new ways of doing things.  We want to see how it works for you.
