I do think there is an opportunity to do a standard event kit - standard banners, publicity material, possibly an exhibition kit that could be used globally. Organizations like Rotary and PMI do this very well to reach out to the public.</div>

idea of having more "event kits" for different kinds of purposes that<br>
we can ship throughout the year (together with continually improving<br>
best practices, repositories of visualizations and outreach materials,<br>
etc.). We'll need to do some internal post-morteming on this<br>
experience to see if this is a habit we can get into more regularly.<br>
But I for one certainly see <a href="http://ten.wikipedia.org" target="_blank">ten.wikipedia.org</a> as a great pilot for<br>
supporting distributed events around the world.<br>

Throwing in some general comments: Thanks to Steven and all who helped<br>
with it, and all who organized, attended or supported celebrations.<br>
The event in SF was awesome, and the photos from the world-wide events<br>
show the incredible energy and strength of Wikimedia in the year 2011.<br>
