<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi folks,</div>
<div>We have created the multilingual dissambiguation to the International Year of Languages (2008) on Beta:</div>
<div><a href="http://beta.wikiversity.org/wiki/International_Year_of_Languages">http://beta.wikiversity.org/wiki/International_Year_of_Languages</a></div>
<div> </div>
<div>This follows after my post: <a href="http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikiversity-l/2008-August/000470.html">http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikiversity-l/2008-August/000470.html</a>, which passed and was probably not understood. Feel free to send comments to this idea, correct existing language translations or translate (and link) into your language.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>This multilingual disimbiguation is to have - on one page in different languages links to the projects based on language education and research on each Wikiversity project (might include links to incubated projects of different Wikiversities (e.g. within Wikiversity Beta)) and multilingualism broad Wikimedia projects. "An easy way to find a course of a foregin language in your mother tongue." </div>
<div> </div>
<div>There is also the idea to ask UNESCO as a cooridinator of activities around IYoL to link this page and provide the wide range of wv courses and multilingual issues to the audience surrounded around UNESCO and all people linked from IYoL main page. Other idea is, that the people coming to this may support incubating language mutations or make a seedling of new language communities.</div>
