If you have purely technical reasons for the choice of
a domain name,
rather than aesthetic ones, I'm all for not calling those reasons
bikeshedding ;)
Any reasons I would ever have for advancing a specific domain name for
such a thing would be technical. In this case, the job is to make it as
generic as possible *without* making it so generic that it's not obvious
to the general public how it serves the most common case.
Since I don't have a complete apprehension of what it does, I won't be
advancing a specific suggestion at this time (though I am a published
author on this topic :-).
