Yes, it's clearly the wrong way, but we don't have much infrastructure
to do it otherwise at the moment. Indexing template-expanded articles
would help, I'm sure there's a bug report for that somewhere..

Wiktionary entries for inflected forms link back to the main entry
using templates, of course. One example is {{plural of|goose}}.
