the code review tools, having
mediawiki.org down when people are trying to
fix deployment problems would itself be a major problem. (It's turtles all
the way down.)
This is exactly why I said we should not use
mw.org as one of our
initial guinea pigs, yes. However, since 1.17 doesn't seem to have a
catastrophic impact on the other dozen or so wikis it's running on,
including meta, I think we can go ahead and switch it over now. If
CodeReview breaks, we can just switch it back.
