Agreed. Make an interwiki redirect say "the page you want is [here]"
without automatic redirection. It's needed almost never, save when
trying to play with a visitor's mind.

Simple. Let's get rid of interwiki redirects altogether. They have *always*
been more trouble than they are worth due to transporting readers to another
wiki without any obvious way for them to know, nor any obvious way to revert
the redirect.
