[Wikipedia-l] Retrospective

The retrospective is to commemorate the fourth Wikipedia Day, as well
as the history of the project; so memories from Wikipedia days past,
or from other anniversaries, are also welcome.  Newbies, your memories
count too; just not in the section marked "only old-timers can
edit"...
