I don't think there is a specification that says
what is and what isn't
acceptable DICT data, or what one can expect to get back from a query.
(Oh, and, BTW, I think UW is a great project :)
I think you are talking about different things. DICT is a dictionary
format of another GPL software

It is also on

And it is the basis for this online dictionary:
