Hoi,
Obviously it is up to you to set your spam filter in any which way you 
deem necessary. Mark does provide most often good information and as I 
mentioned before the amount of endless e-mails he is involved in is 
decreasing. So my conclusion is that you typically deprive yourself of 
relevant information.

As to your re mark, one problem with small dormant projects is that they 
/are /dormant. So if you want to get something done with some urgency, 
it makes sense to inform an admin of such a project. In this case you 
would have done well to inform Mark.
