[Wikipedia-l] Delurking

This is Tokerboy officially delurking.

I tried and failed four times to post this to the
Village Pump.  Since the other night, when the random
page bug was widespread enough that the Main Page was
updated to reflect a way around it, Wikipedia hasn't
been keeping my Login across sessions.  Also, starting
just tonight, it freezes up my computer (IMac OS 9.2.2
running IE 5.1 for Mac) whenever I press "stop" while
it is trying to do something; the reason I am doing so
is because it is taking an inordinate length of time
to save, though it hasn't actually said it failed.  I
let it try for ten minutes last time, and the progress
bar didn't even begin, and my cursor didn't change to
a spinning wheel (which means it's doing something on
a Mac).  Am I the only one?
