Hi Friends,<br><br>Indic languages have an opportunity to gain their rightful place in the computing and communications world on par with English or other languages, with the availability of smart phones and tablet computers with touch user interface at lower price points.<br>
<br>I have been involved in leading a study group on this topic for the last one year to develop the project proposal for virtual keyboard standard. I am glad to report that the project for development of standard has been approved by IEEE-SA on Dec 8, 2011.<br>
