I am glad to inform you that following requests from EC to strengthen the<br>
city/language SIGs<<a href="http://members.wikimedia.in/City_and_Language_Special_Interest_Group_subcommittee" target="_blank">http://members.wikimedia.in/City_and_Language_Special_Interest_Group_subcommittee</a>>,<br>
few members have come forward to grow the activities in several language<br>
Wiki projects. EC has decided to appoint them as the Chairpersons for the<br>
respective language groups as given below.<br>

Subhashish Panigrahi, Odiya SIG<br>

Jayanta Nath, Bengali SIG<br>
<br>
Swaroop Rao, Sanskrit SIG<br>
<br>
Please extend your help in their
activities to organize outreach events, grow the chapter and SIG<br>
membership.<br>

We are continuing to discuss with other city/language members and will keep<br>
you updated on the developments.<br>
