Hoi,
In the Netherlands we had at one time someone who got some domains in order
to prevent cyber-squaters to get the domain. There were people who suggested
that the man himself was a cyber squatter as well.. All it took was the
offer of the money spend to be paid back to affect the domain transfer ....
It was asked nicely, it was offered nicely and that did the trick...
Important was that after the fact it was acknowledged publicly that the
gentleman was thanked for the service..
