style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"> O domínio aparentemente está reservado e parado, enquanto os processos de registro de marca teoricamente estão em andamento no INPI. Embora esses processos estejam se arrastando há mais de um ano, uma decisão a respeito deles pode sair a qualquer momento, e, por isso, acredito que sejam prioritários.</span><br style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><br style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"> As empresas que pleiteiam o registro de marca no INPI provavelmente tem a intenção de utilizar a marca eventualmente registrada como fundamento para um pedido de registro do domínio. Se a empresa for dona da marca wikipédia, é razoável que ela tenha o respectivo domínio. Assim, acho fundamental obstar definitivamente esses pedidos
de registro no INPI e evitar maiores problemas no Registro.br.</span><br style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><br style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"> Se a Wikimedia Foundation consolidar posição sobre suas legítimas marcas no INPI, impedindo que qualquer outra entidade as use indevidamente, ela terá mais fundamento para desobstruir e utilizar o domínio que atualmente está reservado pelo CGI.br.</span><br style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><br style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: verdana,helvetica,sans-serif;"> Por fim, a Wikimedia Brasil não está muito perto de se tornar uma entidade formalmente constituída. E, sem constituição jurídica, o capítulo local não pode assumir o registro do domínio, como sugeriu o Mike.</span><br style="font-family:
