Our next meetup is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 3:30-5:30 pm at the Tenleytown Library, followed by dinner & socializing at some nearby place. <br><br>This is the first official meeting of our proposed Wikimedia DC chapter, with discussion of bylaws and next steps.<br>
<br>Other agenda items include: <br><br>* Update everyone on our successful Wikimania bid, discuss what's next in the planning process, most importantly including sponsorships and finalizing arrangements with the venue, as well as keynote speaker ideas and media outreach.<br>
<br>* Discuss upcoming activities that we want to do over the summer and fall<br><br>* Update on our cultural institution "GLAM" outreach & collaborations.<br><br>* Eat & socialize afterwards!<br><br>Tenleytown Library (newly built & modern) is located adjacent to the Tenleytown metro station, on the red line, with a wi-fi equipped meeting room for us.<br>
