Hi everyone,

This past Monday myself and Katie Filbert (User:Aude) spoke at the
IGNITE Smithsonian gathering featuring 20 speakers. We were the only
Wiki-related folks and had the pleasure of creating a fast paced
five minute presentation about our work. It was rather chaotic, as
these talks always are!

All went well and we were able to connect with a lot of great
people. I've written a super short blog entry about it, but, it
features the PowerPoint and a link to the presentation video.

Thank you Katie for allowing me to jump on to co-present.

We're also hoping to encourage further involvement from Wikipedians
in GLAM/SI. You can join the project here: <a
We are working on planning another workshop soon and our
relationship with the Archives of American Art is expanding this
summer and Fall! The National Archives will soon have a
Wikipedian-in-Residence and I'm hoping that will lead to backstage
pass tours and other exciting opportunities for our group.

GLAM/SI looks forward to your involvement =)
