That's a request to the attendees rather than the organisers :)
Also, because some people have longer names and usernames than others, the
font size on badges were already as big as we could make with printed
names. Would it be more preferable if Wikimania London reverted to
handwritten badges only?

I would add, "make the person's name on their badge bigger". It's a
simple thing, but it helps when meeting people.
