<DIV>Why do we even need mediators? Is there some problem which we have been 

unable to resolve? Yes, we have edit wars...and we resolve them. Mediators might 

"solve" edit wars easily, if I were the only editor Id solve them pretty quick 

too. What's the rush? Just relax and accept the fact that arguments are 

inevitable -- some "mediator" isn't going to solve the issue.
