The people actually writing the bird articles wanted capitalisation, which is what they are familiar with in virtually all field guides, and major texts such as HANZAB, Handbook of Birds Of The World, Birds of the Western Palearctic etc. <BR>

The compromise was that this would be the practice, but there must be a lower case redirect.<BR>
