If you refer to the umma as "an entire people", you will find enough
evidence in recent blog postings about the subject that there are
"enough" Muslims not offended to falsify your claim. The reasons for
not feeling offended are - to what I've seen so far - as diverse as
the reasons to shout out the obverse.
