Exactly right! Any group of experienced editors studying those diffs
would have seen that !! appeared to be someone known to Giano and the
other editors he interacted with. It can be deduced from that fact
alone that the diffs were not discussed by the editors on the
cyberstalking mailing list. What happened is that the blocking admin
made a mistake, undid it, and apologized. These things happen to most
active admins at some point. The more a person contributes to the
project, the more likely they are to make mistakes. Please bear that
in mind when you're judging people.
