How many times does it have to be pointed out that in that comment, Durova
does not say that she was discussing a block? What she says is that she
discussed the investigation. At no time and in no place has Durova ever
claimed that she discussed blocking !! before she actually did
it.Theattempt to identify other editors who approved the block looks
like it is
not going to find any because there are none to find.

James Thurber once wrote a short story called "The Thirteen Clocks" in which
the Cold Duke of Coffin Castle was wont to give suitors for his neice's hand
the task of slaying the Thorny Boar of Borythorn. Wise old hands would point
out that there was no Thorny Boar of Borythorn, which makes it hard.
However, it was agreed that it was possible to hunt the Boar even if it did
not exist.
