This is why it's so important for people to be a little less attached
to the contents of their sekret deliberation.
What "secret deliberation"?
It gets very hard to
reasonably guage what's going on.
Not for reasonable people. Re-read Sam's post.
The longer people demand "this is
secrect, Arbcom doesn't get to know anything about my 'in dept'
discussions with duova", it just feeds into the feeling that where
there's smoke, there's fire.
Alec, here's a multi-day discussion that's been going on:
Alec: I demand to see the e-mails that supported the block.
Matt and Guy and Slim: Durova didn't ask for support for her block.
Alec: But you must show me the e-mails supporting the block.
Matt and Guy and Slim: There were no such e-mails.
Alec: You cannot keep it a secret, you're just making this worse!
Jay: The list members say there were no such e-mails.
Relata Refero: Nobody is saying any more that the list supported the
block, that's old news, why are you still bringing that up?
Jay: Alec still is.
Alec: That's because it is obvious from Durova's e-mail that she
planned a block, and that others "enthusiastically supported it".
Sam: Actually, neither is obvious from her e-mail. There's less here
than meets the eye.
Alec: THAT'S WHY THEY MUST SHOW ME THE E-MAILS, OTHERWISE WE'LL BE
EVEN MORE SUSPICIOUS!!!
Alec, how can people show you e-mails they say don't exist to begin with?
