The evidence suggests this is not the case. No one has managed to
demostraight such abilities under controled conditions and Karate with
it's pure strikeing style tends to get taken appart by say BJJ or
judo. While there are exceptions the fighters in MMA contests such as
PRIDE ot UFC tend to rely on Muay Thai as their primary source of
stikeing skills rather than Karate.
