I am not sure if anyone is taking this seriously, but I am surprised that
one person can easily block a potentially large number of people from
editing Wikipedia, then ignore repeated pleas to unblock!

This process definitely needs to be revised, because keeping users blocked
for weeks is clearly against the concept of wiki's open, contributory model.

Maybe CNET can pickup on this and shed some light on yet another Wikipedia
flaw.
