It's obnoxious to put your own spin on what are the 'major topics' in an area. I've had trouble in the past on this.

Well, for example, there is a [[rational trigonometry]] article which is a report (I hope NPOV) on a mildly cranky variant way to approach and teach trig. We really do not need squabbles over fringe pedagogic theories. Another such thing would be the Henstock integral.
