[WikiEN-l] why blocked?

my IP address (66.241.130.66) has been blocked from editing. it is however a 
college network and so should not be blocked just because of one person's 
vandalism when there are many more people wishing to use it.

The reason given is:
Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by 
"Vfdgfdsgfsdg". The reason given for Vfdgfdsgfsdg's block is: "please 
contact an administrator for verification purposes, as described on this 
page".

I have no clue who this "Vfdgfdsgfsdg" is. and "as described on this page" 
does not really help as it is not described at all and there is no link 
following, and I cannot post on an admins talk page because I cannot edit 
pages, and having no user account I cannot email them my problem.

I tried to create my own username so that perhaps I, a legitimate user could 
edit incorrect pages, but it will not allow me because of the above.
