All you need do is sit on Recent Changes for a while,
and you'll see
patterns of edits which look remarkably like mischevious adolescents
sitting around school computers out of sight of adult supervision and
daring each other to be more and more audacious. We don't really need
our articles containing unsourced information telling us that "Old Mr
Bloggs is a poo-brain."
Of course, if we suspend VFD we'll have a lot more to clean up ;-)
We have many remarkably high-quality editors, and even administrators and
developers, on Wikipedia who are of high-school age. But just ask them
about their schoolmates ...
