Well, it looks like Wikipedia has been down for about 2 hours. Not that I want my money back or anything ;-)

But Jimbo and Brion have been trying to restore service. I myself took a look, but I'm the new guy and I couldn't do anything helpful.

For now, we are stuck in Read-Only mode until someone smarter than me decides to unlock the database. So browse, away, folks! And save all your edits off-line...
