<div dir="ltr"><div>Greetings to all.. <br><br></div><div>I'm forwarding an email that I sent to Zeljko and Chris updating them on my status. For those who don't know, I was an Outreach Program for Women intern in 2013 working with them on QA automation.<br>
</div><br><div><div>Hi,<br></div>Just wanted to give you a quick update on my
status. I started a new job about 2 weeks ago doing QA automation at a
small startup, BidDocs Online. They are automating the bidding process
for construction bids. I am working with Java and Selenium to write
tests for their product, as they have very few tests written. I am also
doing some system admin work and technical support for them. So far,
it is going very well. It's a very small company right now, so there is
only 1 other technical person (engineer) here, but he's helping me to
get going with the test cases. <br>
</div><div>Certainly having the OPW internship on my resume, helped me
to get the job, and to go into it feeling confident. So, thank you
again for all your mentoring and support throughout my mentorship.<br></div><div><br>
</div>I still keep up with the qa digest, so I do keep in touch
with what you are doing at Wikimedia. You're certainly on the cutting
edge of QA, so I learn a lot just from reading the digest. <br><br><div class="gmail_extra">Regards,<br clear="all"></div><div class="gmail_extra"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div>--Rachel<br></div><br></div></div></div>
