<P><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Comic Sans MS">Yesterday I downloaded MediaWiki 1.1.0 and updated our 20030829 version. </FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Comic Sans MS">Kudos to the development team and especially Brion for merging all the development branches into a stable version!</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Comic Sans MS">Everything went smoothly and all functionality works fine (and looks good) except for one:</FONT>
<BR><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Comic Sans MS">When I click on Upload file it displays <uploaddisabled>.</FONT>

<P><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Comic Sans MS">I have searched through the archives (wikitech-l.mbox and mediawiki-l.mbox) and couldn't find any references as to where the setting is to enable uploads. I have looked through LocalSettings.php and DefaultSettings.php and even Language.php and can't find the right variable. Maybe I'm just blind.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Comic Sans MS">All the images that are uploaded already are displaying fine, I just can't upload any more.</FONT>

<P><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Comic Sans MS">So where is the setting to enable uploads? Or is it not that simple? And if it is just a setting, is there a reason why it defaults to off?</FONT></P>
