[Mediawiki-l] Search doesn't work

In the Mysql ini file

[mysqld]           <-- section
ft_min_word_len=3  <-- add this

restart the service

then rebuild the index 'searchindex'

This should take care of you

Hello list,

My search doesn't work as i expect. If i search for "VPN" or "vpn",
mediawiki
isn't able to find anything but i have articles with these words (vpn)
on it and
i didn't used templates at all.

i am useing mediawiki 1.10.0 and i didn't changed the default
settings...

any ideas? do i have to configure something?
