The only reason tools was created was because we felt it would likely be better for bots and webtools to be a single project, hence the creation of tools.</div>

This was a similar goal we wanted in bots as well. I think we very much want to have volunteer roots, even at this point, but a requirement for that would be that any changes that occur on any instance must be discussed with Marc before they are implemented. He was hired to lead the project, which requires a certain amount of benevolent dictatorship.<br>
<br></div><div class="gmail_extra" style>I'd very much like to not lose the effort that's been build in bots, since it's one of our oldest and best run projects. I'd very much like to see you guys work together to build a no-root-by-default version of the bots project together that's puppetized, automated and easy for end-users.</div>
