I believe that people will miss a root on this server. So I think that it would make sense to make it possible to request a separate sql server process listening on different port for projects where it is needed with full access. So that for instance we can have own instance of mysql for deployment-prep with root so that we can easily set up whole project and all db's + keep functionality of maintenance scripts we have (addwiki require permission to create a new database). Also database names must be identical to production, this will be required by many projects, so I think it would be really nice to have more mysql servers running there. What do you think about it?
That is nice, let me know what is server ip, and where the config files are stored in puppet once it's up, also technical specs (ram, storage, cpu's etc) would be cool :) (it's not easy to optimize configs when I don't know the tech specs).

Also open port for nrpe from labs so that I can insert it to nagios please.

Once you create an account for us and explain how is it going to be managed, I can start moving some big db's there. If it's going to take 3 weeks for this to start (I suppose there is no backup system for now) can you create a new project deployment-prepbackups please so that I can backup all stuff from deployment there?
Indeed.
We have hardware we can use for it. I think we should at least start
by adding databases manually for now. It'll still be a while, though.
2-3 weeks, I'd guess.
