You may know about WikiSym -- the international symposium on wikis and<br>
open collaboration -- which is an annual research conference about<br>
wikis. It is being held week after next in Mountain View, CA this<br>
year. There is always a good deal of Wikipedia research presented at<br>
WikiSym. This year I am very pleased that the best paper award (for<br>
both short and long papers) went to two papers about gender and<br>
Wikipedia:<br>
