[Foundation-l] Wikimedia census

Do you have anyone qualified as a statistician setting up your polling
methods for this? Self-selecting surveys are usually not very reliable. It
should also be renamed to a survey. A census would require that we make a
best-effort to get information from everyone with an Internet connection who
has even just heard of Wikipedia.

I also changed the subject of this mail to lowercase, please don't shout.

The stats group (which is essentially a sub-group of the comproj) is working

on it but, have been sluggish until very recently. It will be for 
statistical reasons and, may assist with media requests and, the foundation 
in knowing who edits wikimedia projects.
