[Foundation-l] What are the assets of the Foundation, anyway?

There is a lot to be said about all of these points, many of which are not  a 
board's responsibility. I am just curious: does this mean you are planning to 
 pay for the transportation and accommodations of board and advisory board 
during  a retreat? Assuming no staff is invited, that still comes to 27 people. 
At a  modest estimate of $2,000 per person, are you talking c. $55,000, not 
including  a moderator?
