I'll post a similar message in the Spanish Wikipedia list. In fact I was asking some current es: admins about that, but they wonder to be rejected because they have not enough edits on Commons. I suggest as criteria to be open to accept Spanish Wikipedia admins that have many contributions there and were fighting image vandalism also
