[Commons-l] About the current Commons homepage

on the wider screen 1440x900 in firefox and IE it works fine

panoramas dont look too good especially ones like
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File%3ADresden-Fuerstenzug4.jpg which is
basically a ribon
maybe they could be given two slots
