[2] The OPN is a group that aims to support open policy advocates and advocacy. <br>
<br></div><div>One of the first activities to be realised is the <b>Institute for Open Leadership</b> [3]. <font>This</font><span style="font-size:15px;font-family:Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline"><font> is an annual weeklong institute to train new leaders in education, science, and public policy fields on the values and implementation of openness in licensing, policies, and practices. </font></span><br>
<br></div><div>The first such institue will take place in January 2015 in or around San Francisco. Anyone in the world interested in Open Policy can apply. The deadline is the <b>30th of June</b>. [4]<br><br></div><div>There is a plan to organise the next institute in Europe and Asia, but if you're interested just go for it - no need to wait until then. <br>
