I think this can be solved easily if you just add the URL of what you're looking at when you send an email or report such things. This will help everyone understand the context even if you aren't aware of all the other products or tools that we have. You need to understand that sending an email saying that any sort of logs or sql tables are down makes people very very concerned, especially during a weekend. It is common courtesy to add the context, to make sure people don't jump in panic over the wrong problem. And it will be beneficial to actually solving the problem you report - because people will be able to look into the correct problem, rather than wondering if you mean something else that you might not be aware exist.
