Hi everyone,
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org offers a chat room functionality
called "Conpherence". It is not much used. To avoid phragmentation of
conversations I propose to disable Conpherence on June 24th, 2019.
This means that existing chat rooms will become inaccessible (it's not
easily technically possible to make them read-only). Data could still
be accessed by Phab admins with CLI access, if needed in the future.
Please see https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T127640#5154388 for
reasons and more information.
Please comment on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T127640 if you have
something to bring up which has not been mentioned / considered yet (or
if you have thoughts in which other venues this should also be
announced), to keep discussion centralized.
Thanks a lot!

Hi, everyone!
My name is Xin Chen. I'm a GSoC student working with the Vega team and
being mentored by Dominik Moritz and Yuri Astrakhan. I'll submit patches to
add support for Vega 5 and Vega-Lite because the current Vega 2 is outdated.
I will be very happy for the community to review and help me in the next
several months. Hope you can cooperate happily with me, too.
Sincerely yours,
Xin Chen
Hi,
apologies for sending this really late. I was traveling and I'm still
catching up. I didn't send meeting notes for the last three weeks. Sorry
about that. I'll do my best in the future, so it doesn't happen again.

Hello,
With the upgrade to 2.16, PolyGerrit will become the default UI.
PolyGerrit is a rewritten UI based on Polymer [1] in Gerrit that is available from Gerrit 2.14, you can access this through ?polygerrit=1 or using the footer where it says "Switch to New UI". Note that you can still switch back to the old ui by doing ?polygerrit=0 (or again using the footer).
The New UI is polished under 2.16 and implementing a lot of missing features such as project dashboards and the inline editor. PolyGerrit under 2.16 also redesigns the layout with new colours and styles! It also helps new users with creating there first change!
A date has not been determined yet on when to upgrade, though a suggestion is for after the WMF Hackathon [2].
(This upgrade will be large and will also make the UI modern by default, encouraging new users to contribute and also users who left due to the ageing UI).
