I hope this email finds you well. I'm reaching out to you as members of the Wikisource Community user group to discuss an exciting opportunity. As you may remember, the group was preparing for a conference dedicated to Wikisource in 2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was postponed indefinitely.
However, we think it's time to revive this idea and bring the Wikisource Project conference to life. We are keen to bring together like-minded individuals who are passionate about Wikisource resources and interested in shaping the future of the project. We envision this conference as a comprehensive platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration and innovation.
To make this ambitious undertaking a reality, we need a dedicated core organizing team that will lead the planning and execution of the conference. I am reaching out to you today to invite you to volunteer for this important mission. We value your unique insights, experiences and expertise, and believe that your participation will contribute greatly to the success of this event.
